The in-between cleaning method to maintain the shine.

Somewhere between a full-out dry wash and a rinseless wet wash lies the cosmetic wipe down or Wipe & Wax. More specifically, the Wipe & Wax using CitriCut Xtra is a wipe-until-dry method, engineered to use polish residual as both cleaner and gloss enhancer.

Apply CitriCut Xtra to the aircraft skin with a mop, pad, or cloth. The dilution ratio of 1:4 is dependent on the amount and type of soil to remove. Once the surface is wiped clean of the emulsified soap/soil, a degree of polish will remain on the surface as a component of any residue. To maximize ChemWipe cleaning, use a soft or fluff wipe-until-dry process rather than the aggressive scrub of a wet wash soap. The soft or fluff wipe-until-dry process will remove any remaining dried soap and soil slurry and, at the same time, enhance the gloss factor.

CitriCut Xtra Use:

WET WASH

1. Dilute CitriCut Xtra 1:12 to 1:20* with water.
2. Apply to surfaces manually with a mophead/pad or by an approved portable sprayer.
3. Agitate painted surfaces to loosen soils.
4. Wipe dry with a clean terry towel or string mop. 5. Allow CitriCut Xtra sealant to dry.

DRY WASH

1. Dilute CitriCut Xtra 1:8 to 1:12* with water.
2. Apply to aircraft surfaces manually with a mophead/pad.
3. Agitate painted surfaces to loosen soils.
4. Wipe dry with a clean terry towel or string mop.
5. Allow CitriCut Xtra sealant to dry.

1. Use CitriCut Xtra full strength or dilute up to 1:4* with water.
2. Apply to aircraft surfaces manually with a mophead/pad.
3. Agitate painted surfaces to loosen soils.
4. Wipe dry with a clean terry towel or string mop.
5. Allow CitriCut Xtra sealant to dry.

CHEMWIPE (HANDWASH/WAX)

1. Use CitriCut Xtra full strength or dilute up to 1:4* with water.
2. Apply to aircraft surfaces manually with a mophead/pad.
3. Agitate the surface with a wash pad to loosen the soil.
4. DO NOT allow the work surface area to dry.
5. Hand buff the painted surface until dry with a clean, dry mop head or terry cloth pad.
