The company’s primary goal soon became the training of post-war military pilots returning from active duty to work in the early civilian airlines. The Student Flight Record for Instrument and Commercial pilots complies with Commercial Airman Certification Standards for Airplane (FAA-S-ACS-7A) as well as the Instrument Airman Certification Standards for Airplane (FAA-S-ACS-8B).
The four-panel folder style Student Flight Record follows FAA/Industry Training Standards (FITS) and is an effective tracking tool for students enrolled in any of three courses: Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, Instrument Rating, or a combined Instrument/Commercial course. A single folder for each student serves as a permanent training record and satisfies both Part 61 and 141 requirements—including ground lessons, written exams, flight maneuvers, and flight checks.
The format of the Student Flight Record makes it easy to record accomplishments for each lesson, student performance, flight hours, instructor notes and endorsements, stage checks, ground school completion dates and more.
These folders represent a terrific bargain for flight instructors at less than half the cost of competitive products. Sturdy and durable, ASA Flight Record Folders provide CFIs convenience and peace of mind that their training obligations have been met.
