Aerospace Std - O Ring | AS3209-120

What's the big deal about O-rings," said no aircraft mechanic ever. O-rings are a very big deal when it comes to preventing leakages in critical systems. These AS3209 Series O-rings are a cut above the rest, as they comply with military specification AMS 7276 and are resistant to high temperatures and aircraft fluids. They're made of duro fluorocarbon 75 synthetic rubber, also known as FKM rubber, which is preferred for its toughness and suitability for aircraft applications.

The temperature rating of these premiere O-rings is -15 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (-26 to 204 degrees Celsius), and it provides a 70-80 durometer hardness rating and low compression set. The long list of fluids that these O-rings are resistant against include aviation gas, mineral oil and grease, non-flammable hydraulic fluids, silicone oil and grease, aromatic hydrocarbons (toluene, benzene) and various chemicals. They also have superb resistance to oxidation, atmospheric ozone and aging.
