The SunSpot Series 46 (Certified) Landing Lights/Taxi Light with Pulse are a direct drop-in replacement for legacy incandescent lights. The Sunspot 46 LED assembly has nine high-power LEDs placed behind lenses. They consume a fraction of the power compared to traditional incandescent lamps yet are not affected by vibration. These qualities make them perfect for Experimental Aircraft applications. The lights display a solid, wide beam that illuminates an object's actual color due to the blue-green color temperature as opposed to the "grayed" out images from the orange-red color temperature of an incandescent lamp. This LED landing light is exceptionally bright at 19,250 lumens and 100,000 candelas. The SunSpot LED’s are mounted in the wingtips, leading-edge, cowling, or on the landing gear. If you have a PAR 46 ring mount, the SunSpot 46 series will fit. The Landing and Taxi Light has built-in wigwag and pulse features that can be activated by connecting aircraft power to the pulse wire. Certified: FAA, PMA/STC.

About AeroLEDs SunSpot 46 Series Lamps

AeroLEDs SunSpot 46 LED landing and taxi lights consume less power, output more lumens (total light output), and are not affected by vibrations like incandescent bulbs.
